Can Bearing Buddies be Used on a Travel Trailer
Updated 03/27/2017 | Published 03/23/2017 >
Question:
I know that the Bearing Buddy was designed for boat trailers because of the salt water. Can these be used on travel trailers? I had put some on a pop up trailer years ago. Now, I am wondering if these can be used on an 18foot travel trailer? Thanks.

Yes! You can use Bearing Buddies on anything as long as you use the right size and as long as the axles are not EZ Lube axles with the grease fittings on the ends of the spindles. If your outer bearings are L44643, L44649, or L44640 then you can use # BB1980A-SS.
Checking the outer bearing number is pretty easy. You will not have to take off the hub. You will just need to take off the castle nut and any washers in the way, wipe the grease away from the bearing, and check the number stamped into the side of the bearing.
If you have a different number than what is mentioned above let me know what it is and I can determine if there is a Bearing Buddy that will fit.
