Is there a lock at the hitch to secure the th9029xt bike rack to be sure no one steals the bikes and rack?

The (discontinued) Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack TH9029XT has an integrated cable lock which secures the bikes to the bike rack, but it only uses the anti-rattle hitch pin which doesn't lock.

Thule does provide their Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2 which will still give you that anti-rattle feature, while also adding on the locking feature that you are looking for. You can use the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200 to use on both the bike rack and the Snug Tite device so that you only need one key to lock both locks.
