Question:
Hi , I am installing the winch today on my car trailer. I have watched the video which is good, but it does not address this small black wire in the photo I have attached. Should it attach to the BLACK coded line on the winch ? Thanks for your help.

I spoke with my contact over at Bulldog winch and found out what that small gauge black wire is for. That is the ground wire for the contactor and it will ground along with the main winch ground. I had a feeling it was a ground wire but wanted Bulldog to confirm this and they did!
