Can Drilled Out Yakima Lock Core be Replaced

Question:

Hi, Im looking at a roof cargo box, I havent bought it yet, that has its lock drilled out. Can that be replaced and what new cylinder core will I need to replace it? Thanks,

It's hard to see in the picture if the lock assembly is damaged, but if the housing is okay you could install a new core with the part # Y07202.

Seeing the core drilled out like that does warrant some questions though...like was the box stolen? Did he lose the key? You might ask a few questions.
