Jack Recommendation for Whitewater Retro
Published 02/21/2017 >
Question:
First time trailer owner- our Whitewater Retro has a manual A-frame jack 3in hole pattern we want to replace with an electric one. How do we know how to size it? The trailer is 3500 lb GVW, so I presume we need a 3500 lb rated jack? I was thinking of the EJ-3520-BBX . Thx,

I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 23" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Black, Item # JET-5000. The 5000 capacity will allow the jack to operate quicker and smoother. It will also allow it to last longer.
This jack has more than needed capacity but would be just fine in that regard. It has the lifting strength of 5,000 lbs which would make easy work of the 350 lbs of tongue weight your trailer would have.
