Brake Controller Install Port Location on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

I have a 2010 dodge 1500 4x4 I can only find 1 connection for the brake controller under the dash but i have 3 7 way plug

For a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 7-way there is a port under the dash that will be used for the install of a brake controller. The install harness part # 3021-P is the harness to use. The plug you are looking for is a white, square connector above the brake pedal. I attached a picture that points it out.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
