Question:

There are so many different packages for towing equipment I cant seam to put one together. I have a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trail Hawk and I would like to install a Blue Ox tow package with an invisabrake and rock guard. But not sure if I need diode kits and so on.

For a Blue Ox base plate kit that is confirmed as a fit for your 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk edition you would want the part # BX1136 which is a confirmed fit. Then for a tow bar the part # BX7380 would work well with this base plate kit. The Kargard you would want then is the part # BX8870.

For lighting I would go with the custom fit kit part # HM56208 as it wouldn't require any splicing or drilling into the light housings. You will also need the brake lite relay # RM-88400.

For a permanent install braking system I would recommend the DUO part # SM99251 instead as this is going to install much easier than the Invisibrake and also work well. It's our installers favorite. I attached an install video.

Most likely you will also need a high low adapter so that the tow bar will be level when you are flat towing. I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry.
