Question:
I need a wire harness. Is this wire harness compatible with both the Ford Transit 150 and 250? The C56249 wire harness installation unfortunately requires panel removal inside the van Id like to avoid.

The Curt # C56327 is a confirmed fit on both the 2016 Ford Transit T150 and T250 if they do not have the factory trailer wiring setup.
This has custom-fit connectors that plug in at your taillight wiring; it has a white ground wire that will attach to the vehicle metalwork; and it has a single power wire that you will need to run up to the engine compartment to connect to the battery + terminal using the supplied fuse holder.
The power wire for either kit can be run on the outside of the vehicle and using wire loom like # 7509-10 along with zip ties # DW05724-25 will secure and protect that wire from salt and road debris. If you need additional wire to extend your reach to the engine compartment you can use # 10-1-1, sold by the foot, along with a butt connector # 224775.
I linked an install video as well as an article that will help you with routing that one power wire. Written instructions for each kit are also linked for you.
