Looking for a contraption to transport a single bicycle upright in a pickup truck bed please?

It sounds like the Thule Insta-Gater Truck Bed Single Bike Rack # TH93VR is exactly what you're looking for. This will carry a single bike in your truck's bed and holds the bike by the wheel behind the forks. So the bike stands upright and the wheel does't need to be removed.
