I am interested in the patriot 18k 5th wheel slider for use with my existing 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie Turbo diesel 4 X 4 6foot 4inch short bed utilizing the B and W custom base rails code: BWRVK2602. I will be purchasing a 2017 Glacier Peak F28RKS Titanium series. The Glacier Peak comes with the Mor/ryde pin box and the front cap is curved back to allow for short bed use. Will this setup work well with my combination of truck and 5th wheel?

The B&W Patriot slider # BWRVK3270 is a great option for your 2014 Ram 2500 short bed and 2017 Glacier Peak 5th wheel trailer.
Installation kit # BWRVK2602 will work too but if the truck has overload springs, which as a 2500 it likely does, the best option is kit # BWRVR3202-00 which was designed for models with overload springs.
I also recommend adding a 7-Way in the bed of the truck using # 41157. This makes hooking up easier without having to use an extension to reach a bumper mounted 7-Way.
