Do Tools of Replacement Hardware 7533998 Allow Old Hardware to Be Removed

Question:

Hello, I have Thule 91725U ski racks and the brackets broke, but are still attached. It looks like the replacement brackets with part # 7533998 are the correct replacement for my ski racks. Will the tools that come with the replacement kits make removal of the old brackets possible? Or do you have any tips for how to remove these old brackets? Thank you so much for your help.

Yes, the tools that come with the replacement mounting brackets will allow you to remove the old hardware before you install the new hardware. I attached a picture I took from install instructions that show how all the pieces come together as well.
