Question:
I recently purchased these tire chains for the the tire and wheels that I had on my vehicle 275/55/R20 Part #PW2028C ,but since I have changed tire and wheel size to 255/75/R17 which is almost identical to the original size in height and width but the numbers are not on the chart ?? For the variety of tire sizes that these will fit I cant understand why these wont work ?? or will they ??

Helpful Expert Reply:
The 2 tire sizes are roughly the same diameter but there is a bit more to it than just that. The comparable chains that fit the 255/75-17 tires have a shorter side chain. Otherwise they are nearly identical. So you could potentially use # PW2028C if you want but you might not be able to get them tight enough. For the best fit I recommend # PW3027C.
