Can 89" Inch Hub to Hub Axle Length be Used in Place of 88" Axle if Spring Seat Distance is the Same

Question:
I am in need of replacing a trailer axle. My hub-hub measurements are at 88 inches. I know this item has an 89 inch hub-hub measurement. My spring measurements are at 74 just like the item. Would I be able to use this axel or do you offer any axels with an 88 inch hub-hub measurement?

Expert Reply:
You can still use axle # T3584F-EZ-8974 if the spring seat centers match up like you said. The hub face to hub face measurement is only off 1/2 inch on each side which isn't going to cause you any problems.
