Quite often the campsites are irregular. Do you have a device or platform that could be used as adjustable platform for bottom of steps?

I believe I have exactly what you are looking for if you want to keep your current steps. It is the Camco Adjustable Height Platform Step - Aluminum - 19" Long x 14-1/2" Wide - 1,000 lbs, # CAM43676. This adjustable locking step legs allow you to independently adjustable legs for hich and level the step on uneven surfaces. The legs fold under for compact storage and easy setup.

If you'd like to add scissor steps, I recommend the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps - 3 Steps - Aluminum - Non-Slip Tread - 24" Wide - 300 lbs, # AS23 along with the Aluminum Hand Rail for 3 Step Scissor Stair # AHR3. There is also a 4 step version and those are part # AS24 with the # AHR4.

Another help may be the Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack for Step Assembly - 750 lbs - 4-3/4" to 7-3/4", # JSS-4. This will add stability and extend the life of your steps.
