I went out to the warehouse and measured a Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack, # JSS-85. The top plate is 7-15/16 inches long and 1-1/4 inches wide and the most narrow point, and 1-15/16 inches wide at the widest point.
I spoke with my contact at Stromberg Carlson regarding the Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack for Step Assembly, # JSS-7. She stated that the top plate measures 4 inches by 4 inches.
