15" x 5" Steel trailer wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and a 3.19" pilot diameter. Durable powder-coated wheel resists rust.
When you're towing serious weight, a strong wheel makes all the difference. This steel mod wheel handles up to 2,200 lbs, giving you a solid margin for heavy cargo or long-distance hauls. It meets DOT standards, so you can run it with confidence mile after mile.
Corrosion doesnt stand a chance here. This steel wheel goes through a 2-step finishing process that includes an e-coat primer and a durable Nardo gray powder coat. The result is a clean look that fights off rust and moisture, holding up well in tough weather or humid storage conditions.
This rim uses a standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, so it bolts right onto most light-duty trailer hubs without any weird spacing or adapters. If you're replacing an old wheel, it'll drop right in without a headache.
The modular spoke layout gives this wheel both a sturdy structure and a classic look that works well on any trailer setup. Steel construction provides rigidity under load and steady tracking on the road - ideal for anyone who values durability and dependable performance trip after trip.
Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are (also called bolt holes)
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by five inch nardo gray modular steel trailer wheel with the five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now when you're towing serious weight, a nice, strong wheel is gonna make all the difference. And this one here is a steel modular design wheel that's gonna handle up to 2200 pounds. Gives you a solid margin for heavy cargo or long distance hauls. And we mentioned it's a modular design.
The modular design is the one that has the round holes that go all the way around the wheel. This will give you a nice sturdy structure, and a classic look works well on any trailer set up. And corrosion does not stand a chance with this wheel, 'cause this steel wheel goes through a two step finishing process. That'll include an e-coat primer, and then a durable nardo gray powder coat. And when we mention nardo gray, nardo gray's a popular non-metallic, medium shade gray auto paint that offers a nice, solid, glossy finish, often described as a sophisticated, modern or slate gray.
And this gray is what you'll see on a lot of the new SUVs and trucks that are out there. The result with this is it gives you a nice clean look. It'll fight off rust and moisture, although it's holds up well in tough weather, humid, storage conditions. A few dimensions on this wheel we're gonna measure for you. The diameter on the wheel, which is always measured inside to inside, bead seat to bead seat.
So if we put our tape measure on it, measure 15 inch diameter. The width will be the same way. It'll be measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So there's your five inch width, and the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you want to measure that bolt pattern on a wheel like this, that's an odd number of lugs.
What you'll want to do is pick any hole. So let's say this hole right here. Then we're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one, if we measure, it'd be 4 1/2 inches. So that means it's a five lug, 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Pilot hole diameter right here, this hole is a 3.19 inch pilot hole diameter. And if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. You do wanna make sure to just get one that'll have that same diameter as the pilot hole, which is 3.19 inches. Wheel lug size as uses is 1/2 inch by 20. And the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds. This wheel is made in the USA by Dexstar, and it does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation standards. So you can run it with confidence mile after mile. But that's gonna do it for a look at this DEXSTAR 15 inch by five inch nardo gray modular steel trailer wheel, and the five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.
