Question:
guys I have purchased an M101A1 military trailer that I am looking to build into an adventure trailer to pull behind my 2014 Jeep Rubicon unlimited. I need to replace the axle and hubs so its compatible with my wrangler and bolt pattern. Can you direct me to the axle and hubs and anything else I need to make this conversion. I do believe i want electric brakes I am looking at the Dexter 3500lb axles

The 3,500 pound Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # 35545E-ST-89 measure 89 inches hub-face-to-hub-face and 74 inches spring-center-to-spring-center. You'll want to measure your trailer's current axle to make sure this will be a fit. If it isn't a fit you may need to have to order an axle from a local shop.
Another option is the 3,500 pound Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Electric Brake Hubs # A35RS545E. The Timbrens eliminates the need for an axle tube. It consists of two separate units operating individually to give your trailer a smooth ride. Also, since there is no axle running across the underside of your trailer it will increase your ground clearance.

What would you recommend for converting an M100 trailer and replacing the axel? I’d like to throw normal wheels on with 33inch tires. Do you guys provide instructions?
