What I recommend is to add some load stops to the roof rack crossbars so that you can support the load side to side and use straps to secure the lumber front to back and tie off to the load stops.
First you will need a roof rack for your 2014 Nissan Juke. The most cost effective roof rack that is a true custom fit is from Inno using square bars # INB117, feet # INSUT, and fit kit # INK399.
Then for load stops I recommend # TH503 because they are designed to fit Tule square bars which have the exact same dimensions as the Inno bars listed above.
We have all kinds of ratchet straps. For an inexpensive set you can use # EM04418 which comes with 4 straps that are 6 feet long. Be sure to consult the vehicle owner's manual and/or Nissan for the roof weight carrying capacity prior to loading.
