Question:
Hi, Im looking to install a tekonsha prodigy p2 #90185 in my 2010 Toyota tundra, with the factory tow package. I have the Toyota tow harness which adapts to the connector under the dash, and is a 5 wire harnessright hand side of picture. The tekonsha has a 4 wire harnessleft hand side of picture. Any help on how to adapt the two together is greatly appreciated.

On your factory Toyota brake controller harness the black wire connects to the controller harness black wire, Toyota green with white stripe connects to brake controller red, brown connects to controller white, red connects to controller blue. The all green Toyota wire is not used so you can tape it up and stow it out of the way.
The functions as listed above are black/black for 12 volt power, green and white/red for input from the brake switch, brown/white for ground, red/blue for output to the trailer brakes.
