Question:
Hello Im looking for advice on some products you all sell. I have a 95 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4 prong circle connector in the back. Under the dash I cant find a brake control connector or a blue/purple wire by its self. What im looking for from you all is a complete re/hardwire brake controller kit and 7 prong connector in the back.

To connect a brake controller to a 7-Way connector on your 1995 Dodge Ram 1500, I recommend the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. This will give you all the circuit breakers, wiring, and the 7-WAY connector. The only thing you will need to do is use butt connectors like # DW05745-10 to splice the 4 way round wiring into the 4 way flat wiring connections as the connector ends will need to be hardwired to each other.
For a brake controller, I'd recommend the Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller which means that the same pressure with which you apply the brakes in your Ram is the same braking force you will be applying the brakes on the trailer. This brake controller has some cool features, but the best of which is the easy to read LCD screen.
