Would a pair of these work on a 40ft 2006 carrage c force toyhauler Rv.or what do you recommend. The side by side went through the door when loading it. We had to rebuild the ramp door and it is a little heavy for one person to open and close.

We have ramp springs that would work well for you, but the springs part # GSCC-400 are not intended for what you are looking to do.
Typically for toy haulers ramp springs like the part # CB250D96SHD are what we recommend. This installs above the rear door frame and allows it to easily be lifted.
The installation instructions for this product are recommended for individuals who have experience winding torsion springs. If you have not worked with a torsion spring system before, we recommend contacting a local garage door company to install this system.
