Question:
Hitch on my 2011 GMC Denali 3500HD is larger than in the past. You recommend product RH5-XL, but will this BL7018445 work for my truck.

Yes, the Bolt Trailer Hitch Lock part # BL7023582 will work for you as it is a hitch lock designed for 2-1/2 inch hitches like what you have on your GMC 3500 truck.
The usable portion of this lock is 3.55 inches. Check out the picture I attached for more dimensions.
