Question:
I would like a good but inexpensive tow system for my 2016 Jeep Unlimited to tow behind my motor home. Also, do I need a braking system? What do you recommend?

We can help you select the required components to allow you to safely and legally flat tow your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited behind your RV. You may care to check out the articles I have linked for you which cover the essentials of flat towing. Parts needed include base plates, safety cables, a tow bar, a braking system, a lighting/wiring kit, a high/low hitch adapter and a wiring extension for easier RV hookup.
Base plate selection for your Wrangler Unlimited depends on how it is equipped. You can use the drop-down menu tool at the top of the linked base plate page to select your vehicle configuration.
For an example, we'll say you have the Rubicon Hard Rock Edition, in which case I recommend the Blue Ox # BX1134. The most popular tow bar for Wrangler owner's is the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380 which includes safety cables.
I recommend the wireless/portable Patriot braking system # BLU37TR. The lowest-cost lighting option is the magnetic light kit # PE26UR which has a 4-pole connector that can be wired along with # BX8861. Please refer to the article on high/low hitch adapters for guidance in selecting one that keeps your tow bar level when connected.
Some vehicles can be towed using a tow dolly like # RM-2050-1. You can check your owner's manual to see if your Jeep can be transported with its rear wheels still on the ground.
