Does 12 Volt Accessory 7-Way Circuit Run to Same Breaker as Brake Controller Wiring
Published 08/30/2016 >
Question:
the video instructions say to connect the black wire coming from the 7 way to the 40 amp breaker, then says to connect the black wire routed into the car to the controller to the 40 amp breaker. Are they both really supposed to be connected to the same breaker?????

No, you would need to connect the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way of the # ETBC7 to it's own breaker separate from the circuit breaker used for powering the brake controller that this kit is getting installed with.
That is why more than one breaker is included with this kit.
The 40 amp breaker is for the 12 volt accessory circuit and the 20/30 amp is for the controller. See attached diagram.
