Will Extang Cleat Fit a 2012 Ford F-150 with TruXedo TruXport Tonneau Cover

Question:
Im looking to add tie downs/anchors to the bed of my 2012 F150 FX4 with a spray liner and a truxedo truXport tonneau cover. it looks like the exTang cargo cleat will fit over the rail cover but still sit under the cover and cover rails. Is this true? Is there a better additional anchor that would fit without drilling into the bed?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Extang cleat # EX1932 is designed to work with Tonneau covers that do not have mounting rails that mount to the inside of the truck bed rails. The TruXedo TruXport Tonneau covers have rails that block where the cleat needs to mount so the Tonneau cover would not fit properly with the cleat installed. I have included a picture of the type of Tonneau cover mount that is compatible. So these would not work for you.
