Tire Replacement Recommendation for 1995 ShorelandR with ST175/80-13 Tire

Question:

I own a 1995 ShorelandR boat trailer model OMC-R1715 that came with ST155/80D-13 tire with a Load Range C tire pressure 50 and a carrying capacity of 1500 lb. White Mod Rim. What replacement tire would you recommend? Which is a better more reliable, longer lasting tire Kenda or TaskMaster? Thank you,

The best tire recommendation I can make for your tire size that I believe you meant to type of ST175/80-13 would be the part # TTWTRTM1758013C. This is a Load Range C radial tire that has a 1,360 lb capacity at 50 PSI. But what really makes this tire great is that it is rated for up to 81 mph whereas most trailer tires are only rated for 65 mph.

Your old tires are bias ply tires which radials are the better setup for trailer tires. They run cooler and offer more flex in the sidewall for better ride quality.
