I would like to know if the Curt X5 goose ball adapter will accept a 16K 3200 patriot 5th wheel.

The 16K B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3200 will fit into any industry standard 5th wheel base rails and all of the versions of the Curt X5 gooseneck-to-5th wheel adapters. Curt makes several versions of the X5 adapter; part # C16220 fits the Curt EZr Double Lock hitch, part # C16210 fits the Curt Double Lock and part # 16310 fits the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck hitch.
All versions are rated for 20K so all would have the capacity needed for your 16K Patriot.
