Could the Brophy D-Ring Anchors part # LRB1 Get Welded to Trailer Frame
Published 08/22/2016 >
Question:
i was thinking of purchasing Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor - Bolt-On - 2-3/8inch Wide - Surface Mount - 4,000 lbs Code: LRB1. Its main use would be to tie down a 600 pound quad in an open trailer. Can I just weld this D-ring to the frame instead of bolting them down on wooden floor? Thanks

You definitely could weld the Brophy D-Ring Anchors part # LRB1 to your trailer frame if you wanted to install them. You would just want to make sure that you are in a well-ventilated area as these are zinc coated.
I attached an install video for you to check out that shows them getting bolted on as well.
