Question:

Is it true that there is such a place named HASTINGS, NEBRASKA USA. ? And is it a possibility that one could get there from here if he tried hard enough. ?!. The Missouri river trys to land me way off in Iowa 5oo miles out of the way of destination.....BROADWATER, NEBRASKA. I will soon be heading that way again and want to use my GENUINE DUTTON LANSON MADE IN HASTINGS, NEB USA on a 27 ft goose neck trailer for pulling on a load and to use for strapping her down with a series of pullys to hold in place. I believe it has 1/4 in cable at the moment that will have to be replaced for length needed. just how amazing is the particular model that I have ? on the handcrank is a warning sticker saying to read instructions that I do not have. this winch has never been used, right out of an old box that I bought from Auction.i dont want to be another highway nuisance and I do tend to go heavy at times. thanks for your help.PROUD WINCH OWNER.

We have 1/4 inch winch cable for a Dutton Lainson winch like the part # DL24104 which is 50 feet long. For 25 feet instead you would want the part # DL24100.

As for your GPS being off...I would recommend trying a different GPS app on your phone or online. But that's really beyond our area of expertise.
