What is the size of the DL 6456 adapter that fits into the winch socket?

The adapter part # DL6456 fits 1/2 inch drills like what most hand drills are. It is not a standard hex socket so if you were wanting to try to use a socket you already have in place of it that would not be possible.
The adapter is a square shape that fits into the square adapter on the Dutton Lainson DLB winches.
