Could Anderson Ultimate Adapter Allow Turning Clearance with a 6.5 ft Truck Bed

Question:

Can I use the anderson hitch on a 2016 GMC Sierra towing a 2016 Montana High Country or a 2016 Grand Design Reflection without hitting the cab backing into a tight spot. Thanks!

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System # AM3200 has 9 inches of offset so it can help short bed trucks make tight turns while towing a trailer.

Here is the formula you would need to use to determine if that would be enough.

(A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from the center of the gooseneck ball to the truck cab
B = Offset used, (9 inches for the # AM3200)
C = Width of the nose of the trailer divided by 2.

You will need at least 4 inches of clearance to safely make a 90 degree turn.
