In order to pick out the correct rise/drop ball mount you need to take a couple measurements and do one simple calculation.
To pick out the correct one you will need to measure the distance from the top of your hitch opening to the ground and then with your trailer sitting as level as possible measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground. The difference between these two measurements will be what rise/drop ball mount you need.
You will need to know what size ball you would need by checking the trailer you plan to tow. It will state on it what size ball it takes. Common sizes are 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch.
On the product page for the ball mount that you go with there will be related products on the page that will have the ball sizes that fit the mount.
