Can Peterson Round Left Side Trailer Light Part 43200 Be Used On Right Side of Trailer

The item you selected, Peterson Round Trailer Tail Light with License Plate Light, 2 Stud Mounting, Left Hand, part # 432000, is designed for use on the left hand side of the trailer because it has an integrated light for the license plate on your trailer. The matching right side light is Peterson Round Trailer Tail Light, 2 Stud Mounting, Right Hand, part # 431800, which does not have the integrated license plate light.

You could mount part # 432000 and 431800 on either side of the trailer, but then the license plate of your trailer would not be illuminated. You want to check your local laws to make sure that you can mount the license plate for your trailer on either side. Unless you are wanting to use part # 432000 for lights on both sides then you would just have illumination below part # 432000.
