Does this lock in place when down in case the trailer would roll forward? If not is there a way to lock in place when down?

The Fastway Flip Automatic Fold-Up Jack Foot # FA88-006500 does not have a way to lock the foot in the downward position. To protect against trailer roll, you will want to chock the tires on both sides of the trailer while using the Automatic Fold-Up Jack Foot.
If you need a wheel chock, such as # 3605, I have attached a link with all of our trailer wheel chocks for you.
