Powered A-Frame Jack Recommendation for a 2011 Keystone Passport 290
Published 07/01/2016 >
Question:
Hi, I am looking for an electric hitch for my 2011 Keystone Passport trailer model #290 BH. THe trailer weighs 5600 pounds but Im not sure if this is the same weight to compare with to the hitch capacity. I have a Blue Ox weight distribution system attached. What capacity should I consider or you recommend? Thanks. PS the CIPA mirror extensions fit great and made it to the house on time thank you!!

We do carry powered A-frame jacks that would work well on your 2011 Keystone Passport trailer model 290 BH. I really like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000.
This jack has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs which would be more than adequate for a 5,600 lb trailer that would have a tongue weight of around 500-700 lbs most likely. The extra capacity is great because it allows the jack to work without strain. It works quicker and last longer this way.
