Question:
Will this item for the 1997 Dodge 3500 short bed with diesel engine? Looking for something that will clear the fuel tank and lines on the left side.

We have a rail kit that will fit your 1997 Dodge Ram 3500, but the part # C16420 is for newer Ram trucks so it would not work.
Instead you would want the part # RP30035 which is a fit for your truck and would clear the fuel tanks and lines.
