I am looking at the Demco DM-8550034 auto sliding hitch for my truck, I have a 5th airborne kingpin hitch on my RV and need to know if I need a locking plate on the 5th airborne kingpin before I can use the Demco hitch in my truck ?

You will need locking plates for your 5th Airborne to be able to use it with a Demco Autoslide like part # DM8550034.
If you have a standard-length 5th Airborne kingpin you will need part # DM6026, and if you have an extended-length 5th Airborne kingpin you will need part # DM6062.
