Question:
If a 2.5inch x 12inch roller YR12243-5 were installed in the 12inch bracket CE10305G on a 5/8inch shaft 408400, what would be the exact vertical distance between the top of the roller and the board on which the bracket would be installed? From the picture it looks like the center of the hole would be about 2.5above the board right? which when added to the 1.25inch radius of the 2.5inch roller would make the answer to be 3.75inch less any slack which would be what? between the roller and the shaft. Is this right? This distance is critical in my unique installation.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The top of the roller will end up being 4 inches from the mounting surface.
The hole on the # CE10305G is 2-3/4 inches from the mounting surface, and then half of the diameter of the roller part # YR12243-5 is 1-1/2 inches.
