Question:

I have a Ford F-150 that has a trailer ball that screws right into the bumper. I dont tow anything heavy, so it works great except that it is too high and causes my smaller trailer to be at a severe angle. Do you have a bumper mounted receiver hitch that would mount below my bumper that you would recommend?

A level trailer tows much better so I understand your interest in a hitch that will allow your trailer to remain level when it is hitched to your truck. For your 2005 Ford F-150 we do offer hitch receivers that will provide a hitch tube that sits below your bumper. These hitches mount to the truck's frame and the receiver tubes will sit below your bumper. There is no bumper-mounted hitch for your truck.

Since your truck does not have a factory hitch you can use either round-tube Curt Class III hitch # C13352 (which requires some drilling) or square-tube hitch # 13357 (which does not require drilling). All hitch fits are shown on the linked page.

Once you have a hitch installed you can select the correct ball mount that allows your hitched trailer to remain level.
