Question:
In the response to the question Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Michael H says This is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening capable of 200 pounds tongue weight capacity and 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight. This hitch comes with the recommended drawbar. He is referring to the C11315. However, the description of the product says that the drawbar is not included. I would like to purchase this product but I want to make sure that I am getting all of the necessary components to use the hitch. I see that I will need: For a hitch ball, you can use # 19256 1-7/8 inch diameter or # 19258 2 inch diameter. For wiring, you will need Upgraded Circuit Protected Modulite with 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit, # 119179KIT. But will I also need: Curt Class I Drawbar - 5inch Rise - 11-9/16inch Long - 2,000 lbs or is there a better recommendation? I own a 2011 Outback sport and I would like the ability to tow a motorcycle or small riding tractor neither of which exceed 700lbs. Also, is there any trailer recommendations to haul these items? individually not collectively. Thank you.

Curt used to include the ball mount with Class I and II hitches. Now they're sold separately since there are so many people using hitches for things besides towing. The recommended ball mount with the Curt hich # C11315 is # C45521. This is the only hitch that fits a 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon Sport (with single exhaust) so it is the best option.
The same 2 balls you mentioned, # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch and # 19258 for a 2 inch, will work with the Curt hitch and ball mount. Then use # F-4 for the pin and clip. For trailer wiring for the Sport models use # C56111 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
For a trailer I recommend something versatile such as # K2MMT4X6. It weighs just 305 pounds but is rated to carry up to 1295 pounds. The inside dimensions are 72" long x 48" wide x 7-1/2" tall so lots of room for your motorcycle or small riding tractor.
