Review of the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Detail K2 mighty multi A-frame utility trailer, part number K2MMT4X6.This 6-by-4-foot trailer can be delivered to your front door. It's easy to assemble, and it will allow you to haul almost any type of cargo. The tilt feature makes it easy for dumping loads. It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 1600 pounds, a payload capacity of 1,295 pounds. The tailgate also doubles as a ramp for easy loading and unloading. The tailgate easily secures with the spring-loaded latches and pins. The leaf spring suspension helps absorb shock and bumps on rough terrain.

The square cambered axle and the fully welded frame adds strength and durability. The coupler attaches to your 1-7/8" ball and the trigger-style latch makes it easy to operate. A safety pin is included, but you can easily replace it with a lock for more security. It's fully wired for a 4-pole connection, and the safety chains are included. The DOT compliant lighting is going to help keep your trailer safe and visible at night.

It includes a certificate of origin so it can be titled at your local DMV, and a license plate bracket so it can remain legal. The pin here allows it to go from the level position to the loading or unloading position. The bed measures 72" long by 48" wide, and it's about 7.5" deep. Our ramp or tailgate measures 36" long by 46.5" wide. It has a ground clearance of 9" to the axle and 18" to the trailer bed. Our wheels are 12" in diameter and have a five bolt pattern.

It has tongue length of 48.5". Overall, it's 124.5" long. It's made out of a powder coated steel finish, so it's going to resist rust and UV rays. The tongue skid helps protect our coupler when our trailer is not in use. Not only is it going to work out great for your vehicle, but it's also going to work out great for your ATV or UTV for jobs around the house or farm. Now we'll take it out on our test course and see how it performs.

Let's start with the slalom. This shows side-to-side action, such as turning corners or evasive maneuvering. Then onto our solid speed bumps. This shows up and down action, such as driving through a parking lot or parking garage, or driving in and out of a driveway. And last of all, our alternating speed bumps. This shows twisting action, such as hitting curbs, potholes, road debris, or uneven pavement. To assemble your trailer, you want to start with it upside down. Here, you can install the L-brackets, the springs, the tongue tube, the coupler and safety chains, and the axle. With those installed, you can then install your wheels and tires. For the rear lights, we'll install the brackets and the lights at the same time. Our last step before we turn the entire trailer over is to connect our wires. Once you flip it over, it's time to install the fenders, and finally the gate. And that's going to complete our at look the Detail K2 mighty multi A-frame utility trailer, part number K2MMT4X6.
