Stainless Steel Plush Through Trailer Wheel Center Cap for 3.19 Inch Wheel Center Bore

Updated 05/06/2016 | Published 05/05/2016

Question:

I bought hi spec 5 x 4.5inch rims for my 1974 Scamp Eco camper. I also bought new hubs so i could get away from the bolt in and go with lug nuts. I reached out online and explained i wanted a push through wheel center cap that would fit the 3.19inch bore of aluminum rim. Got an answer back and had caps sent... What they sent was a cap that i believe wAs 1327000 number, too big, scuffed it up? Would like ss finish but will take chrome. Do not want removable grease cap. Can you help? Also if face is black with an emblem would be cool as my rims are polished aluminum with black insets

We do offer a couple of stainless steel push through wheel center caps that are designed to fit 3.19 inch center bores. These push through caps all feature the plastic plug that is removable for easy hub maintenance. We do not offer any push through wheel center caps without the plug on the outside of the cap.

If you decide you would like a cap with a plug, we have a couple of options for you. For a stainless steel cap with a black plug, you can use the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap # AM90175. For a stainless steel cap with a chrome plug, you can use the Lionshead Trailer Wheel Center Cap # LHCS102-SI60C. A chrome cap is also available as part # 319EZ.

Keep in mind that you will not want the stainless steel or chrome wheel center cap to directly contact your aluminum trailer wheel. If these metals are allowed to contact each other, over an extended period of time they will corrode each other. Some type of barrier between the metals will help prevent this corrosion.
