There are many configurations of the 1997 Ford F-250HD 4x4 7.3 so it will depend on how much your truck weighs. The Excali-Bar tow bar, # DM9511008, is rated for 7,500 pounds so if the truck is under that you can use it. It is likely that it is less than 7,500 pounds but it is worth mentioning!
For base plates you would need to use # 458-1 if your truck does not have a front anti-sway bar.
If you use the # 458-1 base plates then you would also need adapter # BX88185 to use the Avail tow bar.
The tow bar comes with safety cables so you would not need to add any separately. You do need adapters for it to connect with the base plates. Use # RM-033.
For lighting you can use a simple magnetic kit such as # RM-2120 which is easy to set up and bypasses the truck's wiring so you won't have to cut and splice into the vehicle tail light wires.
You may also need a high/low adapter to keep the tow bar level. I have linked a help article showing how to measure and a link to the high/low adapters we carry.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. Since your Allegro Bus has air brakes the best system for you is the Air Force One # SM99243. Using a system designed for air brakes prevents false braking on the F-250 which causes more wear on the truck.
Be sure to consult your vehicle owners manual for specific information on flat towing the vehicle. I have also included some helpful links to our series of help articles on flat towing for you.
