Manual Crank Operation for Ultra Fab Powered A-Frame Jack
Updated 05/02/2016 | Published 04/29/2016 >
Question:
I tried the only size manual crank a local trailer supplier offered but it wouldnt fit. The gap measured 1/4inch and from my measurement I need one 5/16. My jack s finish has faded excessively with no visible tags or plaques identifying brand or model. It has a switch behind head that turns on a couple of lights on both sides that are so dim Im not sure what good they do. I guess Im just curious if your crank would possibly fit and do the job. Is there anything in my rambling that would allow you to determine whether or not your crank is one I can use?

Based on the picture you submitted you have an Ultra Fab jack like part # UF38-944017. Which takes a 9/16 deep well socket for a manual override. You would just need that socket and a ratchet and you would have everything you would need to manually crank your jack. There isn't a crank like the part you referenced available.
