Question:
I have a 1997 20 foot long and extra wide neckover livestock trailer with Hayes Axles. The hub has numbers AE 9080590, 5B04, and Max Dia 12. 090 stamped on it. I need 4 oil caps. Old ones are broken and leaking. They are 2 7/8 OD at threads. 2+ inches tall bottom of threads to top of rubber plug. Threads are course threads. I think they are 9,000 pound axles. Two of them.

We do offer a grease cap for an oil bath hub that has a 2-7/8 inch diameter at the threads, part # RG04-230, however the total height of the cap is 1-3/4 inches. This is the closest thing we offer to the oil bath cap you referenced.

I have a Hayes drum from a trailer with AE9080590 and purchased part #RG04-230 and it does not fit. The threads are course in the hub and the part has finer threads.
