How Does the 5K Husky Super Brute Electric Trailer Jack Get Power

Question:

Where/how is it wired and powered? Is it powered by the trailer battery, and if so, how? 2013 GMC Yukon XL.

The Ultra-Fab Phoenix trailer jack # UF38-944055 does get powered by a trailer-mounted 12 volt battery. It has a power wire that will attach to the positive battery terminal or to the 12 volt circuit at a junction box (if the trailer is equipped with one). The other wire is then attached to the negative side of the battery.

Another option is Ultra-Fab jack # UF38-944037 which plugs into a 7-Way trailer connector to get its power from the 12 volt circuit. This jack is rated for 3,500 pounds and does not come with a wireless remote like the 5K rated Husky Brute.
