replacement part for Thule force xl bracket number on bracket is pp+gf5

Thule uses the same strut/hinge for many of their cargo boxes. The replacement for the Force XL cargo box is # TH14936. This number doesn't appear on the part itself. The things that do appear on the part are casting/mold numbers and manufacturer date information.
If you need the parts that this strut attaches to they are not available as replacements. The basic rule for Thule parts is that if a part is riveted on then it can't be replaced. It would have to be sent back to Thule for repair or replacement.
