Question:
Hello, We have a 2008 Montana Mountaineer Edition 345DBQ whose landing gear is giving us trouble. Sometimes it extends and retracts great, others, it seems to slip and not extend, but retraction is usually fine. The motor says 1-065-041012-01 12volt 31AROT CW Speed 714ORPM Made in China 2007 12 03. Any advice as to what to replace it with? The entire motor or just the landing gear? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
It looks like you have a # LC196308 motor, which we offer as a replacement. Unfortunately, I don't believe the motor is your problem, as it will still retract the legs. You can confirm this by attempting to manually operate the landing gear. If you still get slippage as you're trying to extend the legs, it means that the gears inside the landing gear legs have likely been damaged. This usually occurs when the landing gear is over extended or over retracted.
Can you find any other information on the legs themselves? Like a manufacturer name or part number? If you could reply with that information, I'd be happy to make some recommendations for you.
