Question:

Hi, I have a Cherokee limited 2016 with tow package. I want to install my Tekonsha Prodigy P2 but image Im seeing of the car connector location is not the same as what you have on your web site. I actually dont have the cable with connectors so wonder if the car connector Ive seen under the steering wheel is the good one and will buy the cable to ask someone to tap cables... Thanks.

Your 2016 Jeep Cherokee that has the tow package will only need the install harness part # 3014-P for the install of the P2 brake controller part # 90885. It sounds like you may not have found the correct harness on your vehicle yet. Sometimes they can be harder to find.

The connector is behind the black cover located to the left of the steering column, just above the carpet. To plug in the adapter, first remove the cover. I attached a picture that shows the cover that needs to be removed.
