my curt tri flex controller is giving me a AE code what does this mean?

The operating instructions for the Curt Triflex brake controller # C24VV, which are linked for you, indicate on page 19 that if the unit displays the error code A.E. this indicates an internal fault with the controller's accelerometer. This is not a serviceable problem and the unit should be replaced or referred to Curt for warranty service under the terms of the limited lifetime warranty.
